With warm weather on the horizon, you’ll undoubtedly be doing a lot bleaching, lifting and highlighting on your clients. But blonding can wreak havoc on hair if certain precautions aren’t taken. To keep damage to a minimum, ProRituals by Jingles Global Artistic Director Terrence Michael Renk suggests adding a little something extra to your color formulas. “When it comes to blondes, the addition of essential fatty acids to the formula will replenish the moisture that is depleted from the hair, and assists with color penetration and scalp protection,” he says.
